Highway access

The C.M.R.A.’s meeting with the minister of transportation has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 19.

Elaine: The issue of Highway 19  access to and from Corcan Road is a difficult  problem.  The existing gate has been permanently closed because it is not safe for the public to access Hwy 19 for north or south access.  This access was intended for emergency  use only however the general public was using it

The Minister of Transportation Shirley Bond has Canceled our meeting on April 21 The Minister has been called to do Estimates which takes about a week, which she had no knowledge of.  Therefore the meeting on Wednesday is postponed for about a week or two.
